Melanotan II 10mg
Melanotan II (MT-II) is a cyclic synthetic analog of α-MSH (alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone), a non-selective melanocortin receptor agonist with activity at MC1R, MC3R, MC4R, and MC5R. It was originally synthesized in the 1980s at the University of Arizona as part of a photoprotection research program.
Research has extensively characterized MT-II's effects on melanogenesis (pigmentation), sexual function (via MC4R), appetite suppression, and energy expenditure. It remains an important research tool for melanocortin receptor pharmacology and pigmentation biology.
